What to Expect on the River
Blue Earth River
Bent River Outfitter offers multiple river excursion options for all levels of paddlers. Our most popular route on the Blue Earth River begins at Rapidan Dam in Rapidan, MN, ending at the Fort Lehillier Landing (County Road 90 bridge landing). The trip lasts about three to four hours, depending on how much you paddle. This route takes you through 11 sets of Class I rapids. Consisting of small to medium waves and some rock obstructions, these rapids are manageable even to novice paddlers. Along with fun, small rapids there are two main waterfall spots to enjoy; Devils Gulch and Triple Falls. Both sets of falls are right along the river and are great spots to take a break in the shade and eat a snack. The Bent River Outfitter staff are happy to help paddlers find these spots on the river and are here to answer any further questions.
